When I think of timeless and classic fashion items that can be passed on through the generations, the first thing that comes to mind is fine jewelry.

In my early adolescence, I admit I was often captivated by trendy jewelry from fast fashion retailers, but I quickly realized that these pieces not only deteriorated at such a fast rate, they were never made of quality.

Now that I’m in my twenties, my taste in jewelry has definitely matured as well, and I find myself gravitating towards finer jewelry that’s classic yet timeless. And while world-renowned jewelers like Harry Winston and Tiffany and Co. will always hold a special place in my heart for their finer pieces, I understand they may not be as readily affordable on an everyday basis.

This is why I was so elated to be introduced to AUrate, an innovative brand that introduces a new way to think about fine jewelry. Not only does AUrate offer fine jewelry for a fraction of the price of competition by selling directly to customers online, all of their pieces are sustainably and creatively crafted.

The creative minds behind AUrate seek out the purest 14-karat and 18-karat gold, obtain pearls all the way from Japan and the South Sea, and only use S1-clartiy diamonds, offering its end customers only the best. Aside from its quality, AUrate not only uses “conflict-free” materials, they also rigorously insist on honoring the highest human rights, respecting local communities, and protecting the natural environment. With their environmental and social responsibility standards, they have established new industry benchmarks, such as decent working conditions and fair pay.

Other than its high quality, ethically sourced materials, and fair pricing, AUrate also gives a schoolbook to a child in need for every piece sold. With AUrate’s values in mind, that’s definitely one less concession when shopping for fine jewelry.

I haven’t been able to stop wearing this delicate rose gold necklace from AUrate. Hanging from this thin chain is a letter charm, and I chose the letter “E” for Elizabeth. Though simple in nature, this piece is so beautiful because it reflects AUrate’s creative mindset in creating jewelry – all of their pieces take inspiration from the everyday women, from the cities they live in and love, to the stories that they have to tell.

And true to its brand ideology, this delicate gold necklace embodies my personal style perfectly – delicate, understated, yet effortlessly and quietly elegant.

  1. Such a beautiful dress girl! For some reason, jewelry is the last thing I’d invest in. Other garments like handbags and shoes seem like gold to me…no idea why but once I make enough money, I’d love to invest in a couple pieces of fine jewelry!

  2. I completely agree with you! I am a fan of everyday, simple, but timeless, high quality pieces. I don’t wear much jewelry, but I like to wear the same dainty jewelry everyday so Aurate sounds perfect for me! I love that initial E necklace! It is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing this brand. I also love your floral dress! xoxo, Christine
