Happy last day of November! I can’t believe Thanksgiving is already over, and it’s going to be Christmas in less than a few weeks! Time really is flying, and before you know it, 2017 will be over!
Though I’m not really ready for this year to be over, I’m very excited that the holiday season is in full swing! I mean, who can resist Christmas trees, festive music, hot chocolates by the fire, and endless cookies and desserts?
As with every month’s end, here’s a round up of some of my favorites from this past November! It was definitely a very hectic month for me, due to my corporate daytime job, so here are just a few beauty essentials that I found to be huge lifesavers these last few weeks!
First up is one of my all-time favorites, the powerful antiaging serum from Ole Henriksen! Formulated with vitamin C and collagen, this brightening serum has been a staple in my skincare routine for the last two years because I love how it gives me all-day hydration.
Vitamin C has antioxidant properties and also supports natural collagen production, so this serum is like a daily multivitamin just for the skin. After using this for over two years, I’ve seen a definite improvement in firmness, and my skin definitely looks younger and healthier. Another big plus – made with orange and green tea extracts, this serum’s sweet, energizing citrus scent is so enticing.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Rosé, Petal, and Tulip
Up next are these lip balms from Fresh! If you’re a beauty junkie like me, then you know these Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments practically have a cult following!
With a formula that features sugar, grape seed oil, and black currant seed oils, these lip balms moisturize, protect, and smooth for plump and soft lips. Since the weather in LA has definitely cooled down, my lips have been very chapped and dry, but after using these tinted lip balms for the past few weeks, my lips are smooth and soft again!
I’ve been obsessed with the Rosé shade, since the sheer rosy tint almost perfectly matches my natural lip color, but after trying the Petal and Tulip shades, I started loving the bold pink blossom and sheer hot pink tints too! There’s just something about these slightly darker pink berry colors that seem perfect for the colder months, don’t you think? What are some of your favorite shades in this line of tinted lip balms?
L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream
I’ve been a loyal follower of Clinique’s Moisture Surge Intense for the last three years, and though I love the moisturizer so much, I thought it’s due time to start exploring some other options, especially since I’m going to be moving in to my mid-twenties soon.
I received a sample of the Immortelle Divine Cream from L’Occitane a while ago, and I really like the formula! With essential oils and ingredients that help to fight visible signs of aging, this cream leaves skin smooth and luminous. Though I might not necessarily be at the age of fighting wrinkles yet, it’s never too early to start preventing them, so I’m definitely going to be keeping this cream on my vanity!
L’Occitane Almond Smoothing and Beautifying Supple Skin Oil
And last but definitely not least is this Almond Smoothing and Beautifying Supple Skin Oil from L’Occitane. I know this oil has been really popular for a while now, but I’ve been a little hesitant to try it at first, since my body doesn’t seem to absorb oil too well.
Lately, though, my skin has gotten extra dry due to the cooler temperatures, especially my elbows, knees, and legs, so I started using this little sample version of the oil on these trouble areas. And the results are amazing! The mixture of almost and camelina oil really helps to nourish my skin, so it’s satiny-smooth. The oil isn’t sticky at all and melts in to my skin, leaving behind a soft, subtle scent of fresh almonds.
And that wraps up my favorites for this month! What were some of your favorites? Let me know in the comments because I always love hearing from all of you!

I love fresh sugar lips too!!! I only have the rose color, but I’d love to try the others. Such a pity its quite hard to get fresh both in Melbourne or Taiwan, putting it on my list for my next Sephora visit abroad!
