Modern Blush

Pink may be a color that’s reminiscent of the girlish days of childhood, but for the past few seasons, there’s nothing more chic than a soft and subtle blush tone, don’t you agree?

Recently, I’ve been obsessed with this subtly feminine color because there’s just something about it that makes just about any ensemble instantly more youthful (and no one’s ever said no to looking younger, right?).

I’ve been loving this breezy blush halter top because it’s so soft and comfortable, making it ideal for the summer, but at the same time, the little bow detail on the neckline helps it stand out with feminine details, making it the perfect top for the office.

In the summer, I try to incorporate more skirts and dresses in to my work wardrobe, and there’s nothing more fitting for this blush blouse than a white flared a-line skirt. Not only does the silhouette highlight a more feminine and youthful figure, the skirt also helps to streamline the legs making you appear taller and leaner.

Rather than pairing this ensemble with heels, I opted for a pair of suede booties because it dresses the outfit down for a professional look that’s appropriate for meetings, but at the same time, casual enough for after-work drinks with some co-workers.
