One of my favorite things about the spring, aside from the longer days, warmer sunshine, and beautiful blooming flowers, is the start of festival season!
Just this past weekend, Coachella took place in the sunny deserts of California. Aside from offering a wide variety of music and art, the annual arts and music festival is one of the most anticipated fashion events of the year, with style enthusiasts documenting some of the most effortless, bohemian chic outfits that’s perfectly fit for a weekend of fun in California with good music, good vibes, and good company.
One of the things that I love the most about festival style is how free all of the outfits seem. So naturally, when I think of Coachella, specifically, the first thing that comes to mind are white dresses and flower crowns because what can be more free than the color of innocence and purity in a relaxed silhouette paired with pretty blooms that reflect the literal epitome of perfection in nature?
Aside from how much this ensemble represents festival season, I love how this white dress is so lightweight, so it’s perfect for the sweltering heat of the desert, but at the same time, by layering a loosely knit sweater on top, I can keep myself warm, just in case it gets a little chillier at night.
In addition to the simple gold necklace and rose-gold choker that I’m wearing as accessories, the lace-hem of the sweater is a big plus as well because it adds a little bit of femininity to this bohemian chic ensemble.
