A casual spring afternoon can sometimes be a bit hard to dress for, especially on those off-duty days, where you’re just out around town, running errands here and there.
The weather in LA has been extremely bipolar, as it is every spring. During the early mornings and late nights it can be so cold, but in the afternoon, the heat can be sweltering, making it so hard to get dressed sometimes.
On days like this, I love simple and loose-fitting tees because they’re super breathable. With slightly larger sleeves and a v-neckline, the simple silhouette is made even more chic and effortless with stripes, the perfect print for the spring because of the subtle nautical vibes.
Paired with simple denim, this look might be a little boring and predictable, so in order to give the ensemble more of a spring flair, I decided to pair this striped tee with some lilac skinny jeans instead.
To pull the whole look together, I opted for a pair of sophisticated oxford shoes, rather than my trusty kicks, since it lends a preppy edge to the whole ensemble.
