Cozy Aesthetic

Brrr… it’s definitely getting colder and colder, don’t you think? Or maybe it’s just the LA girl in me that thinks anything under 60 is considered Antarctica? Hahaha! πŸ˜‰

With the chilly weather, it’s sometimes hard to get dressed in the mornings, at least for me because there’s I want more than to just stay in my sweats and hoodie. But getting dressed doesn’t necessarily mean we have to give up comfort for style.

Putting together a chic outfit can be as easy as throwing on a sweater dress, and I’ve been loving to wear these tunics with tights or leggings. The cowl neck makes this look even cozier than it already is, but the coziness is balanced with the daring cutout at the back, giving just a subtle air of edginess.

Paired with tights, the sweater dress is instantly elevated for a luxe look, especially if paired with ankle booties or over-the-knee boots.

On days that I want to look more casual, though, I love pairing these sweater dresses with sporty leggings and runners for a classic athleisure look that’s both chic and comfortable.

Throwing on another knit cardigan, this look is sure to keep me warm and toasty, especially on chilly days with biting winds.

  1. I love your cozy layers, hon!! You look so snug πŸ™‚ The back details are beautiful and you sure did style things up there as well!!! ❀ Love this look & even though it hasn't been too cold here (apart from a few super chilly days), I am actually missing snowy and freezing winters! Might just need to move to a different country with actual seasons lol πŸ™‚

    • Thank you so much Tiffany! Hahaha yea, LA is pretty warm, but this year has been surprisingly cold (though probably not at all in comparison to London)! Hope you’re doing well, love!

    • Heheheh thank you Annie πŸ˜€ And yes, the backside is what made me like this sweater in the first place! Haha I actually wish it could be warm year round, like it is Thailand! Miss you girl! ❀ πŸ™‚

  3. I always say every year that I can’t wait for Autumn/Winter and that it’s my favourite time of year and for many reasons it is, but when it actually gets to it all I can do is wish for Summer!! It’s so cold, it even feels like the outside inside my house unless I whack the heating up as far as it will go, so I can completely feel you on the not wanting to get out of bed because of the chilliness! It’s so difficult to kick my butt in the morning & change out of my PJ’s into my running gear. I love that sweater, perfect for winter and spring because of the cut out at the back! Such a cute look & such crisp photography!
