Oh my, I can’t believe there’s literally only a few more days left of 2016! Where did the time seriously go?! It seems like just yesterday, it was the beginning of 2015, and now the whole year has gone by, and yet I feel like I’ve literally just blinked my eyes a few seconds ago.
Due to my crazy work schedule in November (because of Black Friday and Cyber Monday), I wasn’t able to really create a lot of content for the blog, and I’m really sorry to all of you! Last year, I came up with a series of gift guides, but this year, I really didn’t have time to put anything together for all of you 😦
I know I even skipped out on my monthly favorites last month, a series staple on Clothes to Youuu, so I thought the least I could do was try to make it up to you guys this month by pulling together some of favorites from both November and December!
So without further ado, let’s get started, shall we?
Typo Between the Lines – Good Vibes Colouring Book
One of first favorites has got to be this beautiful coloring book from Typo! Growing up, I’ve always loved coloring because I find it so relaxing, but of course, I haven’t really colored since I was in elementary school. As an adult, I’ve heard about how therapeutic coloring is, so I recently got this beautiful coloring book from Typo! I really love all of the artistic illustrations of feathers and dreamcatches, and I really do find it so relaxing to focus solely on filling in all of the pages
Typo Colour Pencil PK 12
My next favorite goes hand in hand with my newfound obsession with coloring, and they’re none other than these gorgeous color pencils from Typo! I love the box’s design because it flips open to act almost as a pencil case of sorts. I also really like how there’s only 12 colors because it kind of forces you to use your creativity to fill in the pages of a coloring book in ways that aren’t redundant and yet still aesthetically pleasing 😉
Typo 2017 A5 Weekly Buffalo Diary in Watercolour
If you’ve been following my blog for awhile now, then you’ll know how much of a neat-freak I am, and how much I love planners! They always make me feel so organized, and with the new year looking overhead, I’m so excited to have this 2017 planner! Not only is the light blue watercolor cover simplistic and minimalistic, I love how the slightly yellowed and aged pages gives off that perfect rustic feeling.
Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer
Aside from my obsession with stationary, there are actually beauty products that have made it to my list these past 2 months! One of my favorites is this lightweight pre-styler that protects, conditions, and eases styling for dry, brittle, or coarse hair. This multitasking primer is infused with six different feather-light oils for a complete hair transformation. It has been shown to make hair softer, smoother, silkier, and less tangled as it tames frizz and protects against breakage from heat with UV protection—all without weighing hair down, which is perfect for someone like me who has flatter hair.
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask
With the weather getting colder and coler, my skin has also been getting drier and drier, so almost every other night, I use Laneige’s Water Sleeping Mask, an overnight mask that leaves skin feeling fully moisturized in the morning. The best part about this mask is that it requires super low maintenance, since you can just apply a thin even layer on the face before you go to sleep. For best results, I apply this as the last step of my night time skincare routine, and in the morning, I literally wake up with glowing skin, as if I just drank a gallon of water!
Clinique ‘Take the Day’ Off Cleansing Balm
And last but not least, for those of you who are doing some holiday traveling, I definitely recommend this cleansing balm from Clinique. This balm is a transformational, lightweight makeup remover that goes from balm to oil to milk to melt away every trace of makeup. Although I love the cleansing oil from this same line, since it gently and effectively removes my makeup without breaking me out, I think balms are much easier to travel with, since they won’t spill or create a mess in my suitcase.
And that concludes my favorites for November and December, and this also concludes the last post of this series for the year 2016! What were some of your favorites these last 2 months of the year? And what are some of the things that you’re looking forward to in 2017? Let me know in the comments! 🙂
