High-Necked Grey Knit Dress

Despite it being June already, I’m still not quite ready to give up knits just yet (especially since it’s always freezing inside the office anyways).

Wearing a full-on knit sweater might be a bit much, though, so one of the best ways to incorporate this thicker fabric in to June is to choose a lighter, ribbed material that’s still breathable. Oh, and of course, a sleeveless halter style wouldn’t hurt either, especially if it sports a high-necked cut that makes for a more refined look, don’t you think?

I also love the A-line hem of this dress because it just fans out so prettily, skimming mid-thigh for a feminine yet sporty chic look.

What I love even more about the ribbed knit material of this A-line dress is that the subtle vertical lines really help to elongate the body and accentuate your curves for an ensemble that hugs the figure in all of the right places.

Though this dress would look just as great paired with sneakers, I opted for zip-up criss-crossed sandals instead, since I was heading to a dinner that night and wanted the ensemble to have a more sophisticated and polished look.
