Happy December! 😀 It’s finally here! It’s finally the month of all things Christmas! I no longer have to feel (too) guilty for listening to (and singing along with) Christmas music day in and out! It’s also time to put the tree and lights up, time for all of those delicious hot chocolates and yummy cookies, time for chilly weather and scarves and boots and mittens! Yay! I can’t wait for all of the holiday festivities to start!
Even though I can hardly keep my excitement at bay, I’m a little sad that the year is passing by so fast! Where did all the time go? I can’t believe it’s already almost the end of the year, and it’s amazing how much things have changed in these past few months.
As with every month’s end, I’ll be sharing some of my most coveted products for this month, so without further ado, let’s get started with my November favorites!
First of all, let’s talk holiday scents! I’ve been obsessed with Bath and Body Work’s Warm Vanilla Sugar Body Cream! It smells so sweet, with notes of intoxicating vanilla, sparkling sugar, and creamy sandalwood. I love how with just a little bit, my skin feels so moisturized and soft. This has been my go to body cream in the past month because the soft and sweet fragrance just reminds me so much of the upcoming holidays, and it’s the absolute perfect scent for the winter 🙂 I actually loved the fragrance so much that I’ve purchased both the body lotion and body spray versions of it (because a girl can never have too much, right?) 😛
I’ve also been a big fan of these Fake Eyelashes in No. 2 Criss-Cross from Daiso, a Japanese convenience store that’s pretty popular in Los Angeles. These lashes are very beautiful without being too dramatic or over-the-top, and I love how the criss-cross pattern makes eyelashes look so full, voluminous, and natural. The best part – they’re such a steal at only $1.50 per pair! 😀 They also last very long, and I reuse them about five or six times, so it’s definitely well worth the price!
And since we’re on the topic of makeup, I’ve also been using NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella quite a bit lately. With the holidays rolling around, no one can go wrong with a little red lip. Rather than wearing it alone, though, since it’d be too shocking of a color against my paler complexion, I tend to layer just a little bit of it on top of a tint to give it a little pop of red that still looks youthful. I love how long-lasting the formula is, and it just glides on so smoothly too! I’m definitely going to be purchasing these in a few other colors once the seasons change again 🙂
As you all probably remember from my previous post about Nature Republic’s Color and Nature Nail Color, I’ve been loving these nail polishes, particularly in No. 2. Though it looks kind of orange in the bottle, it’s actually a very nice nude color once it’s on the nails. I love how watery the formula is, and the best part is that despite its consistency, it dries really quickly. The brush is also of very high quality, so I only have to use about two to three strokes to cover the whole nail (yay for no streak-marks)! 🙂 For only $2, Nature Republic’s nail polishes are definitely a steal! This has been my go to nail polish in the past few weeks, and I’m definitely looking to buy a few more colors that are more appropriate for the holidays soon!
And as always, I want to finish the monthly favorites by sharing with you my favorite book for November, which is the super hilarious Adulting: How to Become a Grown-Up in 468 Easy(ish) Steps by Kelly Williams Brown. Not only is it a funny read, there is actually some real legitimate advice in there that I think is very useful for young adults who are fresh out of college or are trying to find a way in the “real world.” I really enjoyed reading this whenever I had free time because it’s fun, light, but at the same time, very helpful.
That concludes my favorites for November! 🙂 I hope you all enjoyed these picks as well! How did you all enjoy November? Did you have an amazing Thanksgiving? Can’t wait for Christmas!

Oooh, that lotion sounds so good! I love vanilla scents for lotions; I feel as if the scent stays longer and at the same time, isn’t as overwhelming. Plus, it’s awesome to smell like cookies!

And i can't believe there is Daiso in LA!!!!!! WOW!!!!
For the Nars lipstick, wonder do you suggest to put it on whole lip, or that would be too much, and a bit highlight would be fine.
I seriously does not enjoy being an adult 😛 But I am very glad there are these funny inspiration books out there to help us adjust out life 🙂

Happy Holidays to you too Tiffany 😀 I’m so excited for Christmas! ❤
And yes, Daiso started opening a lot of stores in LA about three years ago! I love how convenient it is 🙂
I use only a bit of it layered on top of a lip tint for the gradient lip effect ❤ I find it looks really good like that.
And yea I know what you mean 😛 Being an adult can be filled with a lot of responsibility. Haha but the book is really helpful!
