It’s that time of year again – the time for reunions with old friends, family gatherings, turkey and mashed potatoes, eating until we’re stuffed to the brim, board games as we sit next to the crackling fire, hot chocolates in hand, simple laughter and easy conversations filling the air.
There’s just something about Thanksgiving every year that makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside, and I think that has a lot to do with the immense gratitude and appreciation that I feel and acknowledge on this special day.
I know not all of you actually celebrate Thanksgiving, since it’s strictly an American holiday, but today’s post isn’t just about Turkey Day. No, because Thanksgiving or not, it never hurts to acknowledge all that we are blessed with.
I want to dedicate this special holiday post to honoring my loving parents and family, my amazing friends for all of the good laughs and fun adventures, my best friend who’s been my sister in all the sense of the word, my boyfriend who makes the sun shine even when skies are grey, and of course, all of you for your never ending support for both me and this blog!
But most importantly, I’m thankful for all of the above because you’re all the reasons why I’m able to do what I love everyday. I can’t ever thank you all enough. So once again, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, and even if you don’t celebrate Turkey Day, it doesn’t hurt to give thanks to the ones you’re grateful for.
What’re you all thankful for this year? Are you all as excited about Thanksgiving as me? And I can’t wait for some Black Friday shopping as well! Happy Turkey Day everyone, and don’t forget to eat to your hearts content! 😀
