Nature Republic Nail Polish – The Best Bang for 2 Bucks

As many of you know, I’m a huge nail polish junkie! I must’ve inherited this nail-polish-loving-trait from my mother because she’s also a huge nail polish hoarder as well haha!

Although the seasons have changed, and it’s now fall, I’m still obsessed with pastel colors because they just look so soft and feminine! Two of my most recent purchases that are a result of my current obsession are Nature Republic’s Color and Nature Nail Color in Shades 2 and 14.

I’ve been a loyal fan of Nature Republic for a while now, but I’ve always leaned towards their makeup/skincare more than their nail products, but when I was in their store last week, there was a sale on all of the nail polishes, so I couldn’t resist getting some, just to test them out!

The first one I got was Shade No. 2! While No. 2 looks to be a peachy orange, based on the swatches that I saw in store, it actually comes out looking more like a nude color. I’m a big fan of nude nails because I feel that it makes your whole look instantly chic 🙂

The second one I got was No. 14, which appears to be a little dark in the bottle, but when it’s actually worn on the nails, it’s a beautiful French pink color that really brings out my femininity 🙂

The formula for Nature Republic’s nail polishes really surprised me not only due to its brilliant color choices, but also because 1) they’re so affordable at about $2 per bottle and 2) the quality is just so good too! 😀

The brushes are wide enough to cover the whole nail with just 3 strokes, and the best thing is that they don’t apply the color on in streaks! I definitely recommend these Nature Republic nail polishes to anyone who wants to add more color choices to their collection since they’re so affordable.

If you don’t live near a Nature Republic like I do, there are various sellers online that have them, but I find that Koreadepart has one of the best deals 🙂

When I was a child, my mom used to be the one who would do my nails for me whenever there was a special occasion, but now that I’ve learned how to do some simple designs, such as French tips and polka dots, I’m the one who helps her 🙂 I love how this time is our own personal mother-and-daughter bonding time!

Another reason I love doing my nails is because I find it to be so therapeutic, especially when I’m stressed. Oftentimes, there are moments in life when you feel very pressured due to the hectic schedules and chaos that leave you feeling like you have no control over anything, but when I do my nails, all of my attention is focused solely on completing the task at hand.

What do you all think of Nature Republic’s nail polish? Which brands are your favorite? And do you think doing your nails is therapeutic like me? I’d love to hear all about it in the comments below! 🙂

  1. Wow, there is Nature Republic in the US too?
i always have a hard time with my nail, cos my fingers/hand are not those long/big one, but short and tiny… the size of elementary school girls…since some young girl’s hand are even bigger than me ;(
like the colour you choose above, soft, elegant….i find finding it hard to find a nice looking colour for one’s fingerenail hard too!!!

    • Yes, there is! 😀 A few years ago, I had to buy everything online, but recently, they opened one about 20 minutes away from where I live, so I can actually go see the products now ❤
And aww, no I'm pretty sure your hands are lovely Tiff 🙂 Haha these soft colors will look great on you too!

    • Haha it’s okay, Tiffany 🙂 I used to be pretty bad too, but I just kept practicing, and now I’m a lot better 😛
And ooh I love Essie nail polishes too (though they’re a little on the pricier side) ❤ Thank you so much for stopping by!
