Black At It

With the end of August just around the corner, I can feel myself itching at the thought of a new fall wardrobe 🙂 I’ve already been shopping recently, picking up unique pieces to slowly add to my collection!

One of the most perfect outfits to transition from summer to fall is a crop top and skirt combination.

Crop tops are still reminiscent of hotter days, with mesh detailing that shows just a bit of skin, setting it apart from other more simple or plain shirts.

Rather than styling with jeans, I’ve paired this crop top with a skirt to balance out such a strong look with just a touch of femininity.

Though this outfit is largely dictated by summer pieces, I wanted to emulate the smooth transition into autumn through my choice of color, opting for an all black outfit.

Autumn fashion focuses heavily on neutral tones and basic colors, with rich reds, deep browns, light tans, and ever classic blacks taking styles by storm.

For this outfit, I chose a monochromatic, all-black color scheme in order to really bring out the autumn vibe, and for good measure, a wide-brimmed floppy hat never hurt 😉

    • Thank you for stopping by Yasmin! 🙂 And I agree! The hat and the pop of mint gives a more playful and youthful vibe to a more serious outfit ❤ Fashion's all about creating that balance!
