A Chambray Summer

Chambray is such a versatile fabric, especially for those lazy summer days! And the best thing about a chambray dress – it’s so easy to slip in and out of, making it the perfect look for those summer garden parties or barbecues (because – let’s be honest – we all know we want to eat that extra helping of ribs and potato salad, and that dress will keep that food baby from showing up LOL :P)!

A chambray dress that hits just above the knee gives off a really soft, romantic, girl-next-door vibe – a perfect look for those hot summer nights 🙂 And just in case it gets a little chilly at night, a nice and thick cardigan should do the trick in keeping the arms and legs warm.

For a summer look like this, pairing the dress with sandals seems like the obvious choice, but there’s just something so old-school preppy and feminine about pairing it with some classic Keds that makes the whole look so much more soft and romantic.
