Leather & Lace

There’s no doubt that spring is definitely here, what with the cool mornings, warm afternoons, and chilly nights. It’s one season that I always love, but it can get a little complicated when getting dressed because of the drastically fluctuating weather patterns.

This outfit is one I love because it’s not only stylish yet flirty, but it also does so well in this fickle weather!

On its own, this dress’s a-line cut and off-white lace detailing make it such a timelessly feminine piece, perfect for spring.

But because it’s sleeveless, it can get quite chilly at night, which is why I threw on this leather jacket (not only for practicality, but also for style).

Whether it’s actually worn or just draped over the shoulders, there’s just something about that stark contrast of edgy leather against a girly number that gets my heart every time.

It doesn’t take away from the femininity of the whole outfit, but rather, adds a layer of unpredictability.

To complete the whole enigmatic look, I went for high-heeled ankle booties (also in black to match my jacket), and opted for a splash of color with my blushing pink mini cross body bag (adding to the whole flirty and cute vibe the dress gives off).

For a more romantic look, I left my hair down in waves (because there’s just something about those windblown tresses that screams feminine).

But if you want to go for something a little cuter and younger, tying the hair back into a messy ponytail can give off a totally different vibe 😉
