It’s November, but it California, it doesn’t quite feel like fall just yet. In fact, we’re still having summer weather.
In order to keep cool, I’m wearing a shirt that sports a silk-like fabric that’s really cool on the skin. This material also does a good job in not capturing and retaining any unnecessary heat. Because a plain t-shirt would be too boring, I’m choosing a shirt with a large graphic print in bright colors really make the shirt stand out, so that it doesn’t just look like a regular t-shirt. The most special feat of this shirt is the also some actual 3-D detailing on this shirt, so it really makes this simple piece more stylish.
T-shirt are usually paired with jeans, but because of the overall cute vibe of my top, I decided to pair it with a skirt to further add to the whole ensemble. Because the shirt is already the focus point of the outfit, the skirt I’m choosing is in a heather gray color so that it won’t overpower the whole look.
Last but not least, for accessories and shoes, I went with lighter colors.
Dress: HoneyMelon Korean Fashion Blouse in Yellow, USD $24.99
(The one that I’m wearing was sponsored by HoneyMelon Shoppe)
Skirt: Daphne Layered Skater Skirt in Heather Gray from Abercrombie and Fitch, USD $50.00
Shoes: Montego Bay Strappy Zip-Up Sandals in Nude, USD $12.00
Accessories: H&M Rectangular Shoulder Bag in White, USD $24.95
This look is casual enough for going out with friends, yet cute enough for a simple date. Not only does the shirt do a wonderful job of keeping you cool in the hot weather, but the graphic print really grabs the attention of passersby. What’re you all wearing to keep cool in the heat? Let me know in the comments below, and hope you all enjoyed this look! I’ll be back again soon!
